Responsible editor: Mike de Ruiter
Mike de Ruiter is co-owner of Ranktool, a trading name of Linktool B.V. At Ranktool he works on online visibility for business owners: SEO, GEO, local search and campaigns. He is responsible for the content of trustmark.site.
Why he is building trustmark.site is explained on our about page. You can find more about his work at Ranktool.
How we work
- We write practical explanations about reviews, online shopping, trustmarks and customer contact. Articles contain general information, not legal advice.
- On laws and rights, we refer to official sources such as government bodies and regulators wherever possible.
- About our own platform, we only describe what has actually been built. What is still in development, we say so.
- About other providers, we only state facts we can check with that provider, with source and date. We do not give them scores.
- Every article shows its publication date.
- Photos with articles are illustrations and are labelled as such. They do not show real customers or disputes.
- The editorial team may use AI tools for writing and translation. The editorial team remains responsible for what is published.
Independence
trustmark.site makes money from plans for businesses. That changes nothing about what we write about a business, about scores or about trustmark decisions. When we refer to Ranktool, that is a service from the same organisation.
